How to enable/disable authentication with Google Authenticator


Google Authenticator is a mobile application for creating two-step authentication codes.


In order to use this type of two-factor authentication, you need to install the 'Google Authenticator' application on your mobile device


For iOS owners, you can download the app here, or in the App Store app


For Android owners, you can download the app here, or in the Play Store app


To enable authentication using the Google Authenticator app, you need:



1. In your personal account, go to the 'Profile'/ 'Settings'



2. In the Two-factor Authentication tab, in the Google Authenticator line, click on the 'Button (slider)' and click 'Continue'



3. Open the Google Authenticator application, scan the QR code or enter the code that will be displayed in the tab that appears and click 'Continue'



4. In the tab that appears, enter the code from the Google Authenticator app and click 'Enable'



5. 'Button (slider)' on a green background means that you have enabled authentication using the Google Authenticator app




To disable authentication using the Google Authenticator app, you need to:



1. In your personal account, go to the 'Profile'/ 'Settings'



2. In the Two-factor Authentication tab, in the Google Authenticator line, click on the 'Button (slider)'. A code will be sent to your e-mail address

3. In the tab that appears, enter this code in your account settings and click 'Send'



 4. 'Button (slider)' on a gray background means that authentication using Google Authenticator is disabled
